Our path forward

1. Your Style, Our Mission

After you sign, we’ll arrange some time to chat and complete the Find It for You Questionnaire together. This helps us understand your preferences, measurements, and style goals so we can source items that feel like you.

 

2. How We Source Your Items

We’ll curate your items from trusted secondhand resources, including:

• Thrift stores

• Rummage or garage sales

• Online marketplaces 

• Curb alerts

• Auctions

• Donations to Patina and Paisley

• Secondhand boutiques

Some items may be new/unused, but they’ll always come from secondhand sources—because that’s what makes this process sustainable.

The Purchasing Process

Step 1: We Find Your Options

We’ll send you 3–5 curated options that match your preferences, measurements, and budget. Each option will include:

• Clear photos

• Descriptions (condition, fit, fabric, era, etc.)

• Styling or design suggestions (if you’d like!)

 

   For your Wearables:

If we are working together from a distance, we won't be able to do an in-person try-on session. Instead, I’ll have everything shipped straight to your doorstep so you can have your own private fitting room moment at home!

If you’re local, you’ll be able to try everything on in person before making any final decisions!

Step 2: You Choose What You Love

Once you’ve made your final selection, we’ll:

• Enter your approved items into the Patina and Paisley website for your purchase.

• Discuss the best shipping, delivery, or local pickup option for you.

 

Step 3: Payment

• Our fee: 20% commission of your approved items (before taxes or additional fees).

• Payment is required before we ship or deliver your items.

• Payment methods: PayPal, Venmo, Credit Card, or Debit Card (via our website).

 

What to Expect

Timeline

• We’ll begin sourcing your items within 24–48 hours of receiving your signed guide.

• You’ll receive updates every 3–5 business days (or as agreed upon), including photos, details, and descriptions.

• The duration of our collaboration will be determined during our questionnaire call—we’ll set a timeline that works for you.

Communication

• We’ll keep your information (measurements, preferences, etc.) confidential and use it only to source your items.

• Let’s communicate with kindness and respect. If you ever want to pause or end our collaboration, just say the word!

 

How We Handle the Unexpected
We’re here to make this process smooth and enjoyable for you! While we do our best to ensure everything goes as planned, sometimes things are out of our control (like shipping delays or unexpected issues with an item). If anything comes up, we’ll:

 

• Communicate openly with you every step of the way.

• Work together to find a solution that works for you.

• Stand by our service—because your satisfaction is our priority.

 

Celebrating Your Finds

Photo/Video Consent

We’d love to share your beautiful, sustainable finds with others! With your permission, we may use photos or videos of your purchased items for:

• Our website

• Social media

• Marketing materials (like brochures or flyers)

No personal information will ever be included—just your curated, secondhand finds.
